I looked at the clip in FL Studio, but I’m not sure how to find the name. Can you provide more specifics?

I can tell you what midi grooves I used from EZDrummer. I am having the problem with the following grooves:

    Pop/rock library
    4/4 straight 50-140 BPM
Groove 1 (or any of the grooves)
Variation: 8th half open or 8th rock open

When I play any of these grooves with the Pop/rock kit, the open hi hats sound natural. But when I play them with the Nashville kit, they produce a pumping sound. Is this just a limitation of trying to use the Nashville kit to play grooves from the Pop/rock library?
Thanks again for your help with this.

Here are two recordings of the same midi pattern, one using the Nashville kit and the other using the Pop/Rock kit. The hi hat in the Pop/Rock kit sounds natural to me. Hopefully, though, you can hear the pumping sound of the hihat in the Nashville kit. When I open the piano roll in FL Studio and click on one of the hi hat hits, it rings out very naturally. But when I play the entire midi pattern, I get the pumping sound. Thanks for your help with this.

The files are stored on soundcloud at the following link:

Hi Scott. I’m using preprogrammed midi from the EZDrummer software and all of the hits are open hi hats.
