John,
Thanks for the explanation; if that’s in the manual I guess I just missed it.
Yes (here’s the way I know to do it). Open one of them by clicking on the icon on the track [looks like a short keyboard or a comb, depending on your POV 🙂 ], and click on the “pin” in the upper right so it’s highlighted (blue color, I think). Then repeat with the other instrument.
No, it shouldn’t be connected to moving sound libraries, since the paths to sounds are stored in the plug-in settings.
I am a bit puzzled by the inconsistent behaviour.
Have you tried opening Logic’s Plug-In Manager before opening your Project and perform a Reset & Rescan on the Toontrack plug-ins?Perhaps clearing the AU cache, just to have one more thing to have checked off the list, if you need to create a Support Ticket?
To clear the AU cache, please open a new Finder window, click ‘Go’ and press the ‘Option’ key. Now you will see a ‘Library’ entry in the list, click it.
Open the ‘Caches’ folder, followed by the ‘AudioUnitCache’ folder. Delete the files in there and reboot your Mac.BR,
John
I have a similar slow-loading issue in Windows 10/VSTs — is there a similar fixit for that OS? Thanks.
I’m in the same boat (internal SSD drive is starting to fill up) and I was just thinking the other day about deleting the extra content I never use — my question is: How do you go about deleting JUST the surround/extra bleed from the Core set?
Thanks.
What I’ve found is that from within EZB you have to export an audio file and then insert it back into the S1 song. I’ve tried the “transform” feature with midi only in EZB and nothing happened. I assume you can drag midi from EZB onto an instrument track, but what I understand is you’ll lose the articulations in EZB between notes. I seem to recall that the same is true for Superior Drummer 3 and EZKeys — you have to pull the midi into S1 first. If that’s wrong, sorry.
This, definitely. Perhaps it’s in the works, but I suspect (or at least hope!) it would be one of their best sellers
Since TT isn’t selling the Producer presets anymore, nothing’s lost (income-wise) by updating them for SD3 and making them downloadable for people who have Music City SDX. Good customer relations/PR???
Thanks.
I have been able to reproduce the crash consistently, in Studio One 5 Pro Version and SD3 3.2.2. The steps that led to the first crash and others:
Just wanted to provide more information for Toontrack in case it helps solve this problem.
Thanks.
This is a total shot in the dark, but on the Studio One View menu, under Additional Views, “Reset all views” (or something like that, I’m not at my studio computer). Good luck.
Regarding “Menu > Browser > Use Original Key Signature”:
It would be so much more helpful if this feature was a button on the main screen, and reflected somewhere where the midi is, instead of being buried in a menu. Changing the key signature really expands the usefulness of EZ Keys, but having to dive into the menu makes this a generally forgettable feature.
Thanks for the help,
Stephen
I’d personally like to see what the original key is for a track, instead of having to drill down the menus, and then drill down again to turn it off. It seems like a relatively easy thing to add on the main page (similar to play in original tempo).
Thanks.

Thanked by: donskills and Henrik EkblomAh, so it’s a feature not a bug. 🙂
Viktor, thanks for clearing that up; though, might it not make sense for a Dorian sequence such as E Dorian to show up when D major is selected? Or possibly a future iteration of EZK have a small notation of text indicating the Dorian or Aeolian link? Just a thought.
And while I’m taking a moment to suggest program changes 🙂 it would be great to have a button on the main page that allows us to choose original key or not. Having to open the multiple drop downs to get there isn’t a huge hassle of course, but a single button would be great.
Thanks for your time.
Stephen.
