I´m shure that this will be solvable (is it possible to say it this way?). I really like the EZ Drums. The grooves are great, the sounds too. There is just soemthing wrong with the midi menaging I guess. Hope someone will jump in here.

I´m programming via midi keyboard (Doepfer lmk2)

    Yes, shure.

But in in my special case the cymbal sound stays until i hit snare or bass. Whis makes groove programming nearl impossible.

This happens only when I hit pretty hard. And it never appers when i use the grooves which come with the ez drummer. But sometimes u have to use your own grooves…….

    Any deas?

    Hi,

I don´t think it´s my machine. I´m on a mac book bro with 4 gb ram. My hits are (as i wrote) cubase and ableton live. It happends in both and also in stand allone mode.

I just figured something out: Plaing loud notes chokes my cymbals. When i first hit a cymbal it´s fidne. When i then olay any loud note it chokes. It seems this is not a problem of my machine (i work with much bigger and hungryer vst instruments, like vsl, and it works fine).

I guess EZ rummer is somehow misinterpreting my midi signals.

I just saw a thread with the same problem in the forum.

    Anyone any idea?

    Best Stephan

P.S.: Ofcourse I´m on the latest version of EZ-Drummer and the extensions
