Scott, in reply to your comment, when I make my own patterns and am setting the velocities of every note the same, and I am still having this issue. It seems that when I start making adjustments to velocity, the problem begins… even though all the velocities are equal.
So at least I know Im not crazy… I hope there is a fix.
Ive owned DFH before but lost the Liscence # and toontracks says they have no record of me purchasing or registering it.. (but thats a whole other story). And I dont remember having this issue with it.
Ive been playing around… and when I start a new project, EZD opens up with Humanize on. So I start making a pattern and everything sounds great. BUT…. if I then turn Humanize OFF, and then back ON… THAT is when I notice the humanize feature working in the undesirable way that I described above. ALSO, I notice when I start a project and make a pattern and then I change the velocity of ALL the notes in the DAW, I get the same results. So, if I have been working on a project for hours, and then I do one of those two things, I have completely ruined my project. Any thoughts?
I understand how Humanize works, but there is a very inconsistent and noticeable volume difference among hits. but I still dont understand why there is no problem with the Grooves and songs that come with the program.. Only with my own beats…. also its not just the kick. sometimes the will be a snare hit that is just waaay too weak. I tried it with a limiter also. I just recently started using EZdrummer again after 2 years. And I just bought 2 expansions and I am finding this entire program to be unusable because of this issue
thank you. I found how to contact support. But unfortunately, I dont have my toontrack account information and it doesnt seem to be associated with my current email addresses. But Ive contacted support. thanks!
