Resurrecting an old thread to add a solution I’ve found to convert bfd2pal (BFD2 Midi files) into a .mid format for future reference:

It’s kinda tedious but you can convert bfd2pal by loading the grooves (in batches of about 50 at a time) into the grooves page in BFD, select all the grooves in the right hand column list, right click, export midi.
