I think some directions in the manual about using the “calibrate” function would have been helpful, as I don’t know if it’s working or not. When I click the calibrate button then step on hi-hat, let off then step down again, it doesn’t seem like anything happens, but the value for the hi-hat fully closed position changes from 127 to 80 (in my case). Maybe this is all that’s supposed to happen.
What I do know is that I need to tweak the hat on every startup in SD3, whereas in EZD3, I have no issues.
I would like to know the answer to this question also! I haven’t been able to figure it out. I have tried using the Latin Percussion EZX, which I thought would let me assign cowbells to anything, but it doesn’t seem to work that way.
