So, I deleted everything and uninstalled then re installed and went through what you said and it worked perfectly! Thank you so much.
ah I see, Cubase is actually in the ‘Program files (x86)’ directory.
Apologies, I did actually mean to say that I installed EZD to program files (x86) > Steinberg> Vst Plugins
I installed EZdrummer buy purchasing the full download from the site. I have now updated with the latest update and I ran both installers, 32 bit and 64 as recommended.
In solo, it says im running version 1.3.1.
The path is set to Program Files(x86)> Toontrack> EZDrummer
I should point out, on first install of EZdrummer, it saved into ‘Program files(x86)> Toontrack’ (it created this file automatically)
I then copied all of the toontrack file, into the steinberg file for cubase.
I tried to follow some online steps and basically Im now worried I’ve made things more difficult than they needed to be.
Im sorry for sounding dumb, Im fine with using products, but setting them up really isnt my thing.
Well, Im really very new to all of this, so bare with me.
Im running on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
I am running Cubase 5 version 5.1.0 (I dont know how to check if it is 32 bit or 64 bit but i hope the vesrion helps)
And I have EZ drummer version 1.3.0 (which i think im right in thinking, its 32 bit?)
does that help at all?
any advice would be awesome
