OK, seems the problem was that SD3 takes full control over the digital mixer when playing in realtime and completely ignores system settings. I switched output to the different channels and routed SD3 to different inputs on the mixer (not the same as system sounds). Now it works fine.

    Thank you for your help.

Do you get exactly the same data in the MIDI analyzer window in SD3 when you hit the snare pad as when you play the snare MIDI from the Logic track

Yes. Analyser shows strong hit around 127. If I record this hit in Logic or directly in SD3 it is played correctly afterwards. Problem is reproduced only in realtime play.

What sound output device are you using? Have you tried with the normal Mac speakers?

Actually I’m using Tascam Model 12 as an output. Just tried MacBook Pro Speakers and it works fine. Any clues what’s can be wrong with the external audio interface?

Yes. The preset is fully loaded and the preset is the same. It can be reproduced in both Logic Pro and standalone application. It can be reproduced with any kit from the core library

It is very strange indeed, that’s why I’m referring to this issue as a bug.

It is recorded as 126 and is played as supposed to afterwards.

It seems doesn’t work properly only in realtime.
