^^^what Mick said except don’t save as default. Just save it. Open a new instance of EZDrummer and open it if you’re in a DAW. Otherwise, save two versions of it so you don’t overwrite the prior.
Also, there’s multiple Tracks in EZD. Select All > Copy. Create new Track > Paste. Now you have two different versions of a song in one EZ file.

Decide what to isolate by select the “Out” text at the bottom of each fader. You have 16 stereo channels to work with.

Thanked by: Scott Eshleman and modrobWhat are you trying to choke? If it’s a cymbal just follow the instructions and draw in the area it instructs you to. You can also choke in the articulation area as well.

That Midi to USB product will probably convert the midi well. Do read the reviews on the product.
Without an audio interface to combat latency, which is what your Tascam is, you’ll want a pretty healthy computer processor.

Looks like just a 5 pin cable out, no usb. Tascam should be good. Just need a 5 pin midi cable.
As for latency, I assume the tascam will be fine, it looks modern enough. More info here if you’re new.

You’re not entirely explaining your situation.
Grooves Tab > Upper Right Options Menu > Linked Folder > Add Linked Folder.
If you’re using third party midi, that is where you can import it one folder at a time.
If I piled 100k midi files in 100 folders and imported that into my User Midi for example, made a change to a couple files and selected Sync, if would resync 100k files just as an example.
If I imported my individual folders via Linked Folder workflow, I would only sync small amounts when needed. There’s a few ways to organize things and many scenarios depending on your Hard Drive organization. I organize my midi by the company I bought it off of, and import those individual folders via Linked Folder to stay super organized. That’s just me though.
Hope that helps.

If you can’t get rid of the latency after changing your Buffer setting in EZD3, or in your DAW if that’s what you’re using. You should get an audio interface.
Some drum modules can act as an interface, some can’t. do check it’s manual or maybe someone here has experience with your exact unit.
My audio interface video for Toontrack software is here.
It wouldn’t hurt to share your computer specs for further opinions on your specific situation.

Thanked by: modrob and Scott EshlemanWhen the specialist comes, they’re going to want to know what DAW you’re using. There is no switch in EZDrummer. EZDrummer is the guest of your DAW, you’re DAW controls/routes the midi.
You’ve opened up a new session, still assuming you are using a DAW, and tried a fresh test with only EZDrummer?

Thanked by: modrobIn a DAW, your DAW is responsible for making the connection between midi controllers and EZD. Make sure your DAW can see your keyboard/controller. Also, sometime you must route the controller to the right channel and record enable it.
In EZD standalone app, you go to Settings >Audio/Midi Setup and select your controller.
If you’re new check out this video.
