Similar issue, except EZKeys 2 worked fine, but not EZD3 and EZBass. There’s a conclusion in this old thread. Not one you that helps you get what you need though. https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/ezd3-and-reaper-cant-move-between-mac-and-windows/

Thanked by: RandyI missed some details. Sorry. I’ll migrate a reaper project over and see what happens.

I have no problems loading an EZD3 project from Win to Mac (M4 mini as well). So not sure what vst3 has to do with it when it’s the standalone app. A VST is the plugin version of EZDrummer 3.
Maybe mention what DAW you’re using if you are indeed using a VST3.

If I understand you correctly.
EZD2 is not a direct replacement of EZD3. EZD3 should be considered a completely different program.
On the sessions (possibly from your old OS) you would open the EZD2 plugin in your DAW as-is, go to the EZD2 Menu and Save it from the plugin menu. Now you have an EZD2 file outside of your DAW session. Then, whether the old OS or new OS, make a track with EZD3 on it. Open EZD3 in your DAW. Use the file menu in EZD3 and go to Import EZD2 project. Now you’ve migrated a session from EZD2 to EZD3. It’s going to be some labor if you have a lot of sessions.
The same workflow from EZK1 to EZK2.
If there’s an easier way, I assume someone will chime in.

In a DAW, have two tracks each with EZD on it playing at the same time. That would be two instances.
Gospel also has 2 snare slots.

Thanked by: BradIt would be a hassle to program, but Scott’s idea is best for this.
Or use a particular EZX with two snare slots, though the sound may not be perfect.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanIf you’re using an older EZDrummer product from the EZdrummer 1 line, like Pop/Rock or Nashville (and so on), there is a mandatory Alternate Hits on the snare. Once you hear it you can’t unhear it and you cannot turn it off unless you own Superior Drummer. You can monitor it in the Edrums Tab > Mapping > and watch while a beat plays.
I couldn’t imagine all velocities being the same and it standing out this much with Hit Variation/Round Robin. Do try what Mick is saying though. There’s not much else to try.
What exact product are you using?

Thanked by: dg7779311Try Groove Parts on the Grooves Tab (attached)
or
After copying a Groove in the Song Track, Right click on the Groove you want to paste on and select Paste On Selected Groove and then choose which instrument to paste.

A workaround might be launching FL as Administrator.

It is easy to miss. Especially on a big screen resolution.

Please do. It seems there is no advantage in using one method over the other right now. Or I simply can’t hear what Choke Release does in a real world example inside of EZDrummer to know what I’m missing.
Thank you, Petter!

Thanked by: PetterPeter are you saying the Choke (stop playing) is the way and that using the Choke All (Channel AT) is obsolete? Just want to confirm. Thanks!
