Thanked by: Al.ShootieYou can add/remove Grooves easily in the User Midi folder. Bottom left of the Groove’s Tab.
I prefer to make an extra Song Track. Look for plus symbol bottom right of screen. And use that as an idea bin.

I’d go to the SD3 forum and ask about Tight Kit sounds from SD3 or SDXs. I don’t know those libraries enough myself to advise.

ShootieHopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong. It’s been a while since I looked this up.
Midi numbers are always the same. Midi notes can be one octave off depending on the manufacturer. I think I remember the Japanese manufacturers have a different note.
My Roland notes tend to be off sometimes, but the midi numbers are always on.
Physically, you could always hit the octave up/down on your controller to compensate.

As for connection, RME rewrites the USB 2.0 driver, it’s plenty fast at least for this specific company, fyi.

ShootieSomeone can correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t think standalone can do it. I would have to load EZDrummer in a DAW, route EZDrummer to individual DAW channels, and use the DAWs routing options to access the multiple outputs on my interface.
As good as having a nice interface is, you’ll want a good computer processor as well.
I use an RME Fireface from years back that could do this. Just good ole USB 2.0. Not cheap. I could only get 8 analog outs though.
That’s what I know works from my limited experience with this.

ShootieUsing A DAW, you trigger 2 separate instances of EZDrummer at the same time. It’s a workaround. Only Superior Drummer can it natively.
