I appreciate the explanation and your time. Is there any other documentation besides what’s in the EZ2 manual and this page http://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-trigger-the-ezdrummer-2-percussion/ that I can reference to utilize the tambourine and shaker?

If I program the tambourine to play 16th notes constantly. The first hit is muted, and the next few hits ramp up in volume. I just want the tambourine to play right away, no ramping… or no futurehit. Is it possible? Is that the ‘futurehit’ that I’m experiencing?

Thanks for the reply. Is there no way to modify the Tambourine. Or as it’s referred to as ‘futurehit’?

How is ‘futurehit’ pronounced? Future Hit?

Thanks for the reply, that allowed e to find the instruments. But when I click on the new X-Drum, it doesn’t make any noise. I see the Memory/Status has raised. It visual acts as though it’s working, but no sound. The rest of the regular kit is working. I noticed there was no midi note assigned, even after assigning one, I hear no sound from any of the Producer/Percussion instruments.

Do you know what I’m doing wrong?

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything I could find. Works now. I may have installed the PowerPC update by accident, not sure if that would have given me the above error or not.

Is Pop/Rock EZX kit not a part of Superior or EZ drummer 2? It’s in my drop down of kits/packs to select. If not can I remove it?

And in the Library, there are paths for “Drummer, Cocktail and Percussionist”, these don’t exist, right?

Would be great if all that stuff wasn’t there on future releases if it’s not included with the product.

I am using the Add Path to Library button. I tried both the Avatar and Sounds folder. Same error message.

Thanks for the reply. Your post made sense to me. When I add that path it says “This is not a sound library”. I’ve installed every update for Superior. Can you predict what I’m doing wrong?
