Older question, I know.
I am tending to hard drive maintenance and old or redundant files, and I am wondering why we have to keep an older version of EZ Drummer (2) to have access to all of the kits?
In other words, why didn’t those kits get moved to, or included in EZ Drummer 3? Seems like a hassle to have to keep extra (old version) programs and their files taking up space on a drive, when most people would assume they had all of the previous kits included in EZ Drummer 3.
Has this been remedied by now (2025), or do we just deal with a (mostly) unused old version taking up space on a drive?
I have EZ Drummer 3, SD3, and EZ Bass. I had SD2, EZ Drummer (I think) and EZ Drummer 2 as well.
And, before I uninstall SD1, is there anything from that version that will go missing or break if I do?
I would have assumed that each new version would always cover all the old features/kits/etc.
So, sample rate on RME has to be 44.1 for this to work?
I had not tried this, and had assumed 48 would and should work for this since it showed up in Audio/ASIO property settings.
Works now for me – on 44.1, not on 48. Haven’t tried other sample rates.
Edit/Update: After switching back to 48, NOW it works.
So, for some reason, 48 wasn’t working the whole time I have had this, but switching from 48 to 44.1 and back has “fixed it somehow. Strange, but I’ll take it…
[This post^ is referring to my issue/use in standalone mode only]
Audio inputs 3 & 4 are my 1/4 inch inputs on the Babyface pro, I use input 3 for guitar. Input is set correctly as far as I can see.
Yeah, Audio Sender works to record in EZbass via Cubase Pro 10.5.
1.0.4 same as my 1.0.3 post above…
I just bought this, and can’t get audio record to work either.
