Hi Henrik — that’s a very clear answer, and helps interpret what I am seeing and hearing when EZKeys makes its suggestions. Thanks!
I was afraid that was going to be the answer! But thanks for confirming….

Thanked by: Mick AvoidantHi Mick,
I have tried the various save/load options.
Say I start in EZKeys. I can save that as a .ezk2p file without issue. But then there seems to be no way to import/load that file into EZDrummer, which seems to be looking for a .ezd3p file. What I hope to do is to avoid having to reconstruct the same Song structure in both EZKeys and EZDrummer.

Hi Shootie, thanks for the suggestion — this is indeed effective, and it is also a very clever marketing strategy by Toontracks.
As I was reading the manual (new user here) I ran across the idea of using 4/4 grooves along with the option of 2/3 time. This effectively turns the 4/4 groove into a 3/4 groove. While some of the grooves sound a little bizarre when doing this, others work remarkably well. I’m kind of surprised (in a pleasant way) that it works at all! So I guess that provides another answer to my question.
