Hi John,

yes,
- Layer limits are all set to ‘-‘
- ‘Use adjacent layers’ is turned off
- Using latest Superior Drummer 3 version and The Metal Foundry SDX version (1.5.0)
I am 100% confident this is not an user issue. Other users also reporting the same issue.

Please try it yourself. Use the respective hi-hat articulation Open 3, 4 or 5 and repeat with 127 velocity. You will see there are a lot of extremely soft hits in the sample pool. Sounds like the drummer is loosing his stick repeatedly. ?
