@Scott, can you contact the Toontrack development team and request them a real time schedule? Are we talking about days? weeks? months? I’m really concerned that this issue has no priority with up-coming Black Friday to release new products. Toontrack management should be informed about releasing a product which is broken and affects all new customers. Thanks.

Let me put it another way then.
I’ve provided the time table that the Toontrack development team has allowed the forum Tech Advisors to share with the public. Due to an NDA that I’m not willing to break, that is all the info we can provide at this time.

@Scott, can you provide a schedule when an update will be available? A time frame “released asap” is no longer acceptable as this problem has been reported at 6 October 2021 (around 7 weeks ago) and we don’t see progress. The temporary workaround to downgrade to v3.2.4 is not known to new customers.
My advise is to completely remove broken version 3.2.6 from the releases and restore 3.2.4 as default version when Toontrack is not able to fix this issue.
Look forward to hear from you.

The official word from Toontrack that I can provide is that they are working on an update to be released ASAP. I’m afraid that is the best time table we can provide.

Us forum mods don’t have any info on future releases. It’s a good idea and will probably happen but I have no idea when.

Just an old product description from when it was offered as a DVD and download. Yes, it’s just a download now.

How do I delete the update sign in the Manager?
If the update doesn’t pertain to your OS, the Update can just be ignored. There is no way to delete the Update button.

Are you updating EZD2 or the old EZD1? I don’t believe EZD1 is supported beyond Windows 8 due to EZD1 being discontinued back in 2014.

I purchased no less than 12 products from your company
to your question
I upgraded all of your company’s software in my computer
The piano has update for a bad change in my opinion
You added unnecessary buttons the sound is so bad the previous piano was awesome!
You have to Scribble with a lot of buttons and you can’t get a simple and clear sound
The sound of the piano sounds stunned and suddenly every chord or melody comes out loud
Second thing the EZ DRUMMER 3 has has the same problem the sound is not the same like befor the upgrade
was a mistake And yes! I use DAW
Thanks

The EZkeys interface hasn’t changed at all as far a I know of. Each sound library and presets have their own set of controls. Can you at least post a screenshot of the “unnecessary buttons”?
There is no EZdrummer 3, so I’m not sure what you are talking about there. Again, please post screenshots and sound clips of the issues.

In what way have they changed? What product and library are you referring to? Are you running in standalone or in a DAW? Can you post a link to a sound file of what you are talking about?

Half a bar would still be too restrictive and simplistic. We need to be able to cut bars at the very least on a single beat level. Anything else is just amateurish.
You can cut a chord on the Song Track to sub beat level when you zoom in.
The OP was asking about creating a new chord using the “Add Chord” button, and having it be something other than 1 bar.

Thanked by: Brian_48This is unfortunate. After watching several Youtube videos this looked like a great product. In practice though….. I can’t see much use for it. I wish Toontrack could chime in here and give me some idea as to why it suddenly got massively worse in performance than when I first started using it….
If you can zip a short wav file and attach it here, I can have someone take a look at it. Without a file, it’s difficult to guess at the problem.
