from Page 13 of the EZKeys Operation Manual:
To do so, select the block and click ‘Use Browser MIDI’ above the Song Track.
Any variation you select in the MIDI Browser from then on with take the place of that block,
allowing you to find the best transition from one song section to the next.
Once you have found a MIDI variation that you would like to use for that section,
simply click the ‘Replace’ button and the block will be populated by the MIDI phrasing last previewed.
and demonstrated in the following video:

Thanked by: MarioI tried with a keyboard and a a midi pad. Same issue.
This happens only when using the tap2find.
Recording a track using Ezdrummer as instrument works as expected. So with any other vst instruments I have.
Reading the forum is something happening to others recently.

Yep, as you’ve noted that this issue has appeared elsewhere in the forum
and another respondent has stated in that thread:

FYI!
I have the same problem and contacted support.
They replied to me:
“Thanks for your email and sorry for the trouble. This is a confirmed bug in the current version of EZD2. A fix will be made available in the next EZD2 update, however we do not have the confirmed release date. The Product Manager will display the new update as “not installed” to the left of the PM once it is available.”

Thanked by: patrick maguireI believe that a recent Pro Tools update made AUX tracks ‘solo-safe’ by default when created.
To toggle the ‘solo-safe’ status of any track, ON or OFF,
hold the [CMD](Mac) / [Cntrl](PC) key and click the ‘Solo’ button of that track.
sorry for the delayed response. I’m got called away for a second.

Thanked by: mrpianosorry, I just looked at the screenshot in your original post…
The AUX tracks ‘solo-safed’ and therefore,
they would not be muted if any other track were soloed.
I believe that a recent Pro Tools update made AUX tracks ‘solo-safe’ by default when created.
I assume that what you’re hearing is ‘bleed’ of the other kit pieces
into the mic that you’re soloing.
You can change the location to which downloads are saved
in the Product Manager’s [PREFERENCES].
maybe you’ll find what you’re looking for in
Section 947 E-drum Settings from the EZDrummer3 manual:

that also provides a link to this Toontrack-created video:

Thanked by: Walter Aycock JrWhy can’t you access the Toontrack account under which your original purchase of EZDrummer2 is registered?
Toontrack products are registered to a Toontrack account and are “only” authorized to a computer.
…and also, a single license of EZDrummer2 can be installed & authorized on up to 2 computers simultaneously.
You state that you bought another one? One what? EZDrummer2?
If so, why can’t you use it?
Bought from whom?
Emailed who?
Just asking for clarification of the issue(s)…
EZDrummer2 has not been available for purchase
on the Toontrack website since May 3rd’s release of EZDrummer3.
From where did you buy it today?
That said, whomever/wherever you purchased EZDrummer2 should have provided you with a serial number
to register on the Toontrack website or (preferably) in the Toontrack Product Manager after creating a Toontrack account.
What Toontrack product corresponded to the serial number that you registered?
Yes i use product manager that’s where the prompt comes from re.photo

So sorry. I couldn’t view the photo before responding earlier.
Having now seen the photo, I’d do as the message suggests
and reinstall the full Vintage Rock EZX from the Toontrack Product Manager.
You’ll likely have to reveal those installation files
by clicking the “Show Details” link on the product flag in Product Manager.
You may even have to uninstall if a ‘simple’ reinstall doesn’t work or is not an available option.
My suggestion is to download Toontrack Product Manager
and use the upgrade prompts there.
Installation files on your disc will likely be very outdated.
Try whether this sample auditioning option might be what you’re seeking:

oops! sorry. that’s EZD3 function
