No need to do all that. Simply change the instrument on Logic’s Drummer track to SD3 and change SD3’s drum mapping to Apple -> Logic Drum Designer.
You can continue to use Drummer regions from there and make any adjustments you see fit, or you can bring it into SD3 via the Record button in SD3 and play the track.

Oh, cool. It’s been awhile since i’ve used Logic at all.
I’m definitely going to try this method to attempt to imprint it for when I need it.
Thanks, Jord.
I suppose that the easiest way to get Logic Pro X Drummer data into SuperiorDrummer is to:
1) create a Software Instrument track with SD3 instantiated below your Logic Drummer track.
2) then, drag the Drummer region(s) onto the SD3 track. The Logic Drummer data should convert to MIDI on the SD3 track.
Mute the Logic Drummer track so that you’re NOT hearing both tracks.
3) THEN, you can [Record] that MIDI into the SD3 song track as noted previously.
After which, you’ll want to mute or delete the MIDI on Logic’s SD3 track so that only the MIDI internal to the SD3 song track is heard.

Thanked by: drumjack52Yes yes and yes.
I am using Product Manager, and yes I changed the download location to a folder within my external drive.
All the libraries were there, it still wouldn’t detect them even after diverting the library path there.
And then after launching it a couple of times it deleted the entire contents of that folder.
I haven’t modified anything at all I’ve just followed the download instructions from the product manager and this has happened.
The drive is brand new.
As Brad has alluded, after downloading the sound libraries,
they must be ‘installed’ (best by using the Product Manager) to their working location.
The DOWNLOADed files are not functional until they are installed to their working location.
THAT location will be the one to which you will point SuperiorDrummer3.
They are (almost) always 2 different folders.
Typically, the DOWNLOAD location and the working INSTALLATION location might even be on different drives
because of the size of the files.

Thanked by: BradPlease reference The Song Track,
particularly Section 5.3 The Song Track Header Bar for information WRT editing inserted chord blocks.
Essentially you’ll use the Pencil tool to draw chord blocks of desired lengths and the Split tool to chop them up into smaller blocks.

Section 3.2 “The Instrument Menu” in the EZDrummer3 manual, under Section 3. “The Drums”
shows and explains selection, volume, and tuning of each kit piece.

Thanked by: Austin_48Your screenshot of Toontrack Product Manager shows only the SD3 software download/installation.
The 5 parts of the SD3 Sound Library appear in the Toontrack Product Manager separately
under the [SDX SOUND EXPANSIONS] product area.

Thanked by: rixaThe Sound Library is divided into 5 parts. Not all parts need to be installed,
but all installations must be completed in the order that they appear (i.e. You can choose to install downloads 1, Bleed, 2, 3, but NOT 1,3,5). The only exception to this rule is the Additional Bleed download, which can be installed at any time after Download 1.
Downloading AND Installing the SuperiorDrummer3 software and sound library(s)…
Did you skip any steps?
What does the Toontrack Product Manager report for Part 1 of the SD3 Sound Library?
(The Sound Library is broken into 5 parts for varying levels of definition and bleed.)
can you also provide some details about your computer; i.e. OS, processor, RAM, etc?

Thanked by: ShootieYour 1st image displays a message that the product is only *partially installed*.
Please download the installer again and reinstall the product.
Absolutely.
Any Toontrack drum MIDI can be used in and with any Toontrack drum product.
from the 7.3 Song Track Header Bar section of the EZDrummer3 manual: (Song Track Header Bar options)
Add Groove: This button inserts a full four-bar groove at the first free slot in the timeline after the current playhead position. If the slot is smaller than four bars, the inserted groove is shortened to fit the free area. The Add Groove button always adds a simple eighth-note groove.
I’m not in the studio currently to test or elaborate on the process
but it appears that you must make space for the bars to be inserted…
right-clicking on the [Record] button opens up
the ‘Enable on Record‘ options that include
toggling on/off the Metronome and the Count-In.

Thanked by: dimugi, rixa and BradI’m not in front of my studio computer,
but the manual states that the metronome can be toggled on/off
using the button on the Transport Bar.
Pretty sure that I & others confirmed this during beta-testing.
