It’s losers like you who offer up absolutely nothing but criticism that make this world a worse place to live.

Don’t bother to reply to this because I’m blocking replies to this thread.

MIDI editing is not the issue. It’s more user perception of what MIDI editing is all about. Not to mention the ability to recognize the difference between data and controller/transformer.

So ridiculous that this isn’t available yet in SD3. Seems like a no-brainer, must have feature. Right?

Why isn’t “Velocity” and “Amount” in the play style tab (or anywhere else for that matter) available to automate, or at least attach to a macro. Weird…

The only workaround seems to be using MIDI out from SD3 and then recording it on to the MIDI track in real time as it plays your pattern from SD3 song lane. Then you can adjust the knobs and it will alter the outgoing MIDI dynamics and complexity.

I’m just asking if I’m ending up with duplicate sounds IF I buy DFH. I have ALL of the SDX libraries but DFH is the OG and it sounds great.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear about that. I should have said that at the start 🙂

Is there an equivalent to DFH ezx on SDX? Is it the original superior 2 library (Core)?

I’m not even sure what that reply means… You wouldn’t appreciate that? So if you had a checkbox that let you apply the swing slider to the grid you wouldn’t find that useful? I know that every DAW has that feature built-in, and has for as long as I can remember. What a weird thing to say. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I think I found a workaround. Duplicate the OH track and assign it to the ride cymbal.

If anyone has a better way let me know 🙂

This software is 10 years old. I want an update as badly as you all.

Remember, SD3 took a decade to get out of them. But it did NOT disappoint. So… Maybe R&D is on it and they are ready to release just around the corner? Fingers crossed. Until then, it will do you NO good to complain about it on here. It’s not that they don’t care. They are tight lipped (*as always) with new update. It;s how it’s always been. Just enjoy using it sand when the update finally hits, celebrate! 🙂

On a side note, since your site can (cleverly) hide MIDI packs you already own, you should be able to hide MIDI packs that are included in SDX and EZX that you already have too! 🙂

So I guess no one can confirm this.

    Well, aren’t we entitled?

Maybe go start your own company and design the software that YOU want if it’s sooooo easy.

    Have a nice day!

The only way I figured out to line up the reverse samples is to copy the midi to the other instrument and then nudge it back in time.

    Umm…
