    Thank you John!

Greatly appreciate your help. I’ll try the record from the DAW midi track feature. And I’ll also play with saving the Midi track into a midi File and importing via drag and drop from Explorer.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards, Scott

    Hey John,

    Thanks for your reply.

I Love the creative flow with SD3 and using the editor to create grooves within SD3. Very intuitive and super helpful with workflow. And I absolutely love the expansive library of midi grooves which I’ve purchased a lot of.

Many of the projects I work on start from an idea I have when away from my studio. I’ll beatbox an idea into my audio notes, and then later in my studio, I’ll create that beat in one of my DAWs.

The limitation that I experience is when I have a groove that I created in my daw (S1 6.0 & Reason Studio), and I’d like to drag that midi clip into SD3 to save it into my library of grooves for further development within SD3.  And sometimes, it’s a project that I have saved from the past, and I want to modify, remix, or revamp.

I’ve searched but can’t find how to do this. Maybe I’m missing it.

Other than that I’m very satisfied with SD3 and all your products.

    Thanks

I find this limitation rather silly. I create a lot of grooves within my DAW (S1) timeline and would love to save them in my SD3 library.

Ok. I took the risk and plunged into it. I just purchased 3 EZX packages and they work great in SD2 Sweet Percussion!!

I’d be very interested to know this as well. I’m interested in the EZX Jazz Drummer and the EZX Latin Percussion and would like to use it in SD2.

I use Reason 7 as well. I found this great little video on YouTube with a great work around on how to use VSTs with Reason7.

    It worked for me.
