Not sure why you are using that considering BFD can export directly to EZD, thus eliminating a couple of steps. However at least you are going.

It can, how ?
My mistake. I’d tried doing it from memory. This is what I should have said:
Settings > E-Drums/MIDI In > Mapping.
Are you sure this isn’t only for incoming midi signals (ie from e-drum kits) ?
I’ve now been using this for importing MIDI files, and it works really well: MIDI Drum Remapper | Free Online MIDI Conversion Tool
Ok, I think I have found a solution.
MIDI Drum Remapper | Free Online MIDI Conversion Tool
This allows you to re-map a MIDI file.
Source Library: BFD3 Drums
Target Library: Toontrack EZdrummer 3
Create mappings and click “Save Current Mapping” to add custom presets
It shows you the mapping it will use, then allows you to tweak this. A quick play suggests it works really well
Actually, I implied that you should create the map in BFD as it is far easier in this case.

Ah I completely read that the other way around…
Mick have you done this before? I believe this is only for income midi signals.
That’s what I thought. It looks like you set it to ‘learn’, then hit the various drums.
BFD3 has the ability to export MIDI using various mappings. You are best to export from there as it probably would be easier to create an EZ Drummer map than a BFD map (BFD3 default mapping is all over the place and does not extend the GM mapping like EZ Drummer does.

Thanks for the reply.
So, how do I create the MIDI map in EZDrummer ?
