Thanks, CHRIS ! Yes, UK POP needs to take a look at (nice lib).

Thanks for the great compliment, CHRIS ! Someone else told me the same about this piece.

CHRIS,
“The Warmth is Here” has an 80’s and robotic vibe (something retro futuristic to me). The “arpeggio” of the synth (the sounds, too) isn’t innocent. The end of your song, with the synth solo has a nice atmosphere. I would have thought your track would have gone on after the chorus, but you’ve made the choice to stop here. I like when the bass kicks in. Maybe could you turn down, just a bit, your voice ? It’s a nice instrumentation, and I think it would be a good thing to have a wider sound with it (just my feel).
“See The Light 2” surprised me. Something more classic, even with your use of the synths in the second part of the piece. I like the vocals duet. I was the surprised by the level of your master, too (in comparison with your other tracks, in general) You could increase it more, without being in the loudness war. It would be cool to have a development/ending that could last more 😉 It’s worth it !
Have a nice Fall !

And thanks, CHRIS !
ED : yes, both double-tracked and tape delay for the guitars 😉

CHRIS,
So, the Pop/Rock EZX still does the job ! “Make The Right Choice” has an early 90’s vibe (to me). I like the vocals duet. It gives something more to your song. Sometimes, I hear some levels gap. I don’t know if it’s me or soundclick.
“House of The Leader 3”” has something more aggressive/industrial, if I dare describe it like this. Can imagine a cyberpunk atmosphere (the vision your song gives to me). It sounds bigger than your other songs.

Hi Dan,
A nice ballad you’ve made ! Yes, the Darkness SDX fits surprising well. Nice snare and toms (Maybe the ride could be (just a bit) more present sometimes, but it’s my personal taste) ! Lovely vocals and harmonization. Sounds nice, to me.

Thanks for your review, CHRIS.
“Sitting On The Fence” is catchy (very). To me, your mix is good as it is. Nice instrumentation. I like the tremolo effect and the different synths. Nice sound and vibe at the end of your song !
“Something to Gain 2” has a nice crossover aspect, like one of your former songs. Nice atmosphere during the intro. Your singing has something more classic. I like the melody too. The drums’ sound is “smooth” but fits well. Maybe could you increase your master a bit ?
Modern Day Catastrophists
Listened to both.
Scene of The Crime sounds nice to me. I felt this one like a classic rock piece (m ore than an alternative one). Nice synth solo. The drums sound fits well.
Heart Melt 2 is more singular. It’s the first time I hear you this way. Interesting crossover (exotic/oriental and 80’s vibe). Maybe could you boost your drums (just a bit) ?
Have a nice summer ! 🙂
Modern Day Catastrophists
Maybe you can get close with UK Pop (nice EZX), at least for the No one knows sound ?
Modern Day Catastrophists
Could be… Thanks for the feedback, CHRIS !
Et bonne continuation !

Hi Chris,
“What I mean” has a jump (the famous hit) vibe (a bit). On the same time, there is some indie/alternative feel too. like your synth solo in the last part. The end is surprising.
You have the time has a New Wave mood (to me), sometimes a Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark mood (a bit). Your personality is here, though. Like the Arpeggio at the end.
Have a nice spring !

Hi Torbjôrn,
As concerns the sound you’re looking for, I think it fits very well. EZD 3 has more versatility, in terms of sounds. It’s worth upgrading.
