When I try a choke in learn mode, it doesn’t register in ezdrummer, so unfortunately, that’s not the solution.
Also it seemed to work with a TD17 i rented for a project last year, so it definitely must be possible.
In the edrums explanatory video, Toontrack states that “Cymbal choking is supported by ezdrummer and superior drummer and should work by default by simply selecting the correct e-drum preset for your module.”
So it should definitely work.
Hi-hat splashes also don’t work for me by the way, but since I rarely use those, that’s not much of a problem…
I did do a full reset of the efnote module to see if the issue had something to do with custom settings, but that didn’t do the trick…
