Many thanks, John, I was logged in to the forum, but none of the product-specific user forums were showing, but now they are. Other than the automated reply, I never did get a response to my support request. I guess I’m good for now, though.
The video was a big help and I am able to use EZPlayer to play internal and external midi drum sounds through Garageband now. The key was enabling multitrack recording. Using the MidiO AU plugin I’m able to get Garageband to output MIDI to external devices.
I’m still wondering if it’s possible to use EZPlayer standalone (with Solo) to trigger a MIDI module or drum machine. The above nmethod works well on my Mac, but I don’t have any EZPlayer-compatible DAW software on my PC. I can get my USB interfaces to work with EZPlayer/Solo for MIDI input, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to send MIDI out. Any ideas?
