I am guessing you have ensured you are pointing to the folder that stores you ezdrummer vst file, as you had it working before yes? Maybe clear cache and rescan.
you might have had the “Record: input (audio or midi)” checked, but is the speaker button next to that turned on? if you can’t see it , expand the track panel. the button doesn;t look much like a speaker, but that is what it is.
I got it to come back up but still no sound from ezdrummer, samples won’t play, can’t click on the drums. Yes the speaker button is turned on next to what you are talking about. I don’t understand how it can work in standalone and not in reaper

that was not the input monitoring button shown in the pic, that is the record mode button (RED). The input monitoring button is to the right right of the ‘IN (Down arrow)’ button.
Oh lol then yes the “Record: input (audio or midi)” is checked.

See pic.
Oh yeah, I can arm to record and it still doesn’t work. I think it has something to do with the sounds from ezdrummer not loading properly.
When I’m in the browse menu, I click on play on the samples, and the white cursor just moves all the way to the right, without playing the sample
https://gyazo.com/c72b65bff90c93b1152d4680715631d1But, you said that it works fine in standalone. If you are using the same 32-bit version if EZD2 in standalone and in Reaper, the sample should load the same. If the same version of EZD2 works in standalone but not in Reaper, there must be something not setup right in Reaper. I don’t know what that is yet.
I dont know what it is either lol. I’ve tried installing both at 64 bit as well, and that didn’t work either

Do you have the input monitoring button enabled for you EZD2 track? It is off in your pic above.
Sorry I’m new to reaper, where do you see that?

Is there a way you can show a pic of ALL of the different paths to the plugins in Reaper? Because that is not the path in your pic.
I cleared all of them and manually added where the ezdrummer.dll is and it still doesn’t work. It comes up in reaper, but wont play any sounds or let me click on the drums

Can you post a pic of the VST paths that are set in Reaper?

Judging by my other pictures, should it be somewhere else?
Yes. It should also have the location that contains the EZdrummer.dll. You should add the path.
That path is already added, its the VSTplugin folder

Where does it say bridged Scott? Both the programs I installed are 32 bit versions of the program so I don’t know why it would say that
I see it now. Any idea why? Like I said I made sure to uninstall and i reinstalled both versions at 32 bit

Thanks for replying, no worries on the wait. I’m just frustrated with this as you can imagine lol I just want to get it to work.
Yes I reinstalled the 32 bit version from the download link here – https://gyazo.com/c933a892c9dad5ce4a1e4d57886a37b5
After installing, I installed both updates from there as well.
The standalone does work, all the sounds work. This is what the browser tab looks like – https://gyazo.com/0bc54ff8e81d5461e897f542ed9f787a
ezdrummer.dll shows up in the folder ‘vst plugins’ as shown here, but theres also another toontrack folder within vst plugins that has another ezdrummer.dll in it as well
