Roland TD-11 is set as the preset, the analyser shows that CC1 and CC4 are what the hi-hat is using and the ‘pedal openness’ looks like it is detecting the pedal movements.
When I start calibration, the text on the right still says it is listening for hi-hat pedal movement as if nothing is happening at all.
Despite setting up SD3 with the TD-11 preset, it’s nearly impossible to record because the software seems to just cook it and put in extra notes or the hi-hat doesn’t behave like it should – or like it did when it was recorded. I usually give up and put the stuff in manually just because it is so incredibly difficult to make this software work with the kit like it should and I feel like I have tried everything.
