yes exactly. except in reaper, when you reload the preset and click “keep output routing” it doesn’t work when you change the preset, everything resets. After some further testing it seems like if just re-do one of the routings (i.e. set kick to 5/6 even though it is already set to 5/6) then everything seems to work. Def a bug.
Think i’m answering my own questions 🙂 just checked the faq looks like the package is:
Download 2: “Room Mics 1” (The rest of the Room mics: OH Cond, Amb Near, Amb Mid).
Just to confirm it’s really only 3 extra mics that you get in that package?
Sorry for the confusion. I still see the same basic overhead mics i had before AMB ribbon/OH Dyn etc… I thought this package was “Room Mics” so i thought i would have some more to choose from or something? I’m obviously misunderstanding something.
I’m just going strictly by presets at the moment. Do none of the presets take advantage of the room mics? is it something you need to add to each preset?
Hey Scott, do you need to do something to enable the other mics once they are installed? I just downloaded and installed them and A/B’d against a groove I recorded and rendered from before I installed them (same preset, same groove) and I can’t tell a difference?
Thanks Scott.
So the next library after what I already have is the Part 2 room mics at around 46 GB… I’ve freed up some space on my main drive by moving other (non superior drummer) sample libraries over to my external so I can do it but it’s still a ton of space… is it a real noticeable difference??
Hey yeah, SD3.
Also, is there any way to make the DAW follow SD3 when i change the start point on the SD3 timeline?
