yessir. All up to date.
I never really got a believable track with those pads. I have seen people do amazing things with them but I never could. Maybe if you practiced a bunch you may get there. I would look at maybe a used Alesis Nitro or something. It’s around $300 – more than one of those Pads but not much – and the triggering is night and day.
Can’t get mine right in Reaper either. Tried all above.
Ugh.
set the path right to EZD 3 in the program files. Still nothing. I find it strange that there are no .dll files. It looks like the only thing installed is the stand alone EZD 3 which works fine.
I have been using a korg Padkontrol for a few years with great results. Plug it in and it’s ready to go. Super responsive and it has great velocity sensitivity. Amazing set of pads
You can usually find one on eBay for under 80-90 bucks.
Having an issue myself.
When I choose ezdrummer 2 from the vsti list, I’m not given the option to place each drum on its own track. So it sets up a single track in reaper. If I switch the mixer to multi out, I can only hear the bass drum. All other drums are muted until I reroute the all the mixer channels into a stereo out again.
But it’s weird that I’m not given the option to route tracks into separate reaper tracks when first opening ezd. All the videos I’ve seen show that happening
Thanks for the help…
So are you saying that you do 2 instances of EZD in 1 project?
My thing is that I like to do the kick and snare first. Then go back and do the hats and cymbals. But I haven’t found a way to have the first “pass” survive. When I go back for the second pass, EZD records over the 1st pass and I’ll only have hats and cymbals.
Got it. Went 32 and it’s showing up.
I did have to physically move the .dll to my VSTi file, which apparently does something bad for future updates but since I’ve used EZD, I’ve never avoided installation headaches so I don’t feel like I’m really risking much.
Thanks so much for your responsiveness. You saved me.
