is there any particular reason why this trigger method is acceptable for bass drums and not snares or toms?
The reason i ask is simply because other manufactured triggers simple attach to the edge of the head by the rim.
Is there a difference triggering an acoustic drum vs a edrum with a mesh head? Ive noticed most edrums use the piezo mount in the middle of the head. but acoustic triggers mount on the rim. sorry if this is stupid, im just trying to get some info before i decide which method to use.
