thats a good suggestion Fossile thanks! I remember trying this in the past but it was a while ago so I just tried it again now. It’s ok with a very basic line (say just playing quarter notes) but anything more complex there seems to be a lot of random notes, drastic changes in velocity, etc. If I were reading this comment I’d definitely think it’s an issue with the performance or using a distorted signal but I’m using a guitar DI and and mindful about unwanted string noise and playing the notes with as much of an even attack as I can.
I still think your suggestion will be my go to workflow. It’s an extra couple of steps to record the audio and move them manually into EZbass but I find it easier than using the audio sender. What is your workflow like?
