Nope, I was using the same location I always use (on my computer’s drive). I created a new project with a fresh instance of SD3 and that fixed it though…weird

A snare drum (specifically, the 4″ x 14″ Ludwig Black Beauty) in the core library — I have the closed roll articulation enabled, but extending the note length in the grid editor doesn’t affect the sound at all.

    Hi John,

Here you go. When I record on my kit, everything works fine, but the moment I edit any notes, they lose their length and sound extremely short, regardless of how long I extend the open note to. I also have trouble changing open notes to closed – when I move notes from the edge trigger to any closed articulations, they still sound open.

    Hi,

Just following up on this, as I haven’t been able to rectify the issue.

    Hi,

I’m using the core library, and the default Ayotte kit setup. When I preview the open hi-hat notes under the various articulations available in the grid editor, they sound quite long, but as soon as I program the notes in and play them back, they sound short. I’m not sure why this is happening.
