pthomaslandr.y@gmail.comI figured out the fix – from a slate forum, posting here in case someone else still has this issue.
The gates have to be longer, as aftertouch only gets recognized by SD3 during the note ‘window’. Setting up longer gates via the kit editor fixes this.
