Same here. Using a 2011 iMac with 16 GB and 2 TB SSD + 2 TB HDD and it works fine for now. Only issue is with my Graphics card, which had to be repaired and I can’t do any heavy video stuff on it. So I was looking at the M1 machines but I’m still very hesitant to buy the M1 until everything is compatible. Might work out better to hold off for some time since I believe Apple is going to release new M1X or M2 machines in a few months.
