I am sorry, but I don;’t know what motherboard they used.. except that it is the “newest” intel..
The CPU is:
<ul class=”wc-item-meta”>
As said, 128gb of Ram.. it was built by PC Audio Labs. Blazing fast and problem free. The Cubase Cubase CPU meter doesn’t even move..
I sent crashdumps to Steinberg. Turns out my Intel CPU was not supported for Win10. I had a new audio computer built – 128gig ram, and the latest motherboard. all problems with SD3 and every other problem now solved. Appears, in my case, to NOT have been a ToonTrack problem, but rather just a case of having my hardware up to speed for the software.

Thanked by: Mellow BoyMolotone.. in normal 4/4, etc., highhats are on the beat… 1. 2. 3. 4. When played off beat, they are struck on the “ands” of the beat 1 AND 2 AND 3 AND etc… Have no idea what you mean by “Also an OFF BEAT Hi-Hat would be more like a FUTURE INSTRUMENT as the Sound starts before and ends ON the beat.”
Well, I have no issues at all with Cubase for several years. I have only had 1 crash “EzBass has caused a crash in Cubase” and the above SD3 issue which does not cause a crash.. it just freezes everything on the screen while the song keeps playing. As I said, ctr/alt/del (not task manager) unfreezes everything. And again, this only happens during playback when the SD3 grid editor is open
As a matter of fact, you can order a drive from ToonTrack already pre-loaded. Save you a lot of time downloading…
If I understand you correctly, I have experienced the same problem. I copy a section (eg. notes/chords C F G), and when I paste, it is changed to (eg Am Dm etc)..is that what you ate experiencing??
Thanks… yes, you would think that SD3 and EzBass would respond the same… if the tracks for both had disappeared from the songs (I had programmed a dozen songs or so), then I woyld think I did something wrong.
I have had a similar problem.. as I stated in a previous post. I used both EzBass and Superior Drummer 3 in a number of songs in cubase. SD3 worked as expected. All the EzBass programming I did has just disappeared.
…update. I found that eZBass had stalled at the update. After several failed attempts, I uninstalled, re-installed, and was able to update. EzBass now works.. HOWEVER, all my EzBass tracks have disappeared from Cubase 10.5. The SD3 tracks are still there. So, does amyone know where Cubase (or EzBass) stores it’s tracks (not found in audio or other cubase song folders)
Thank you. I was using the tracker.. to create a bass line. I was right clicking in the tracker, and it gives the option to transpose – which when clicked, was causing the crash. I will use the chord wheel which you showed me above. Thanks again!
