    Thanks for the enlightenment. On Ableton’s forum however there is info about this & it’s not supported. Switched to Reaper and it works just fine.

    Hi John,

    I just wanted to let you know I will be going along with Reaper instead of Ableton as the cymbal choking works perfectly in Reaper.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for your reply. I checked a bit more and after a little while I discovered a forum thread on Ableton where people were ranting about the fact that Ableton is not supporting polyphonic aftertouch in Live 10. So to me it seems like I have hit a dead end street.

    I’d better check out a different DAW and probably will try reaper as my next stop.

    Btw, are you aware of any DAW that supports the polyphonic aftertouch so that my cymbal chokes are captured?
