    Thank you Mark. I have tweaked the velocity as per your recommendations. The overall impact was nominal. But you are bang on in the volume with SD3 kits versus the expansion packs.

    Interestingly, I also run EZDrummer 3 and the volume levels with the bundled kits and expansions are noticeably louder.

    I’m using a Rodecaster Pro 2 as an Interface/Mixer.

    Thank you for the reply. I will play around with the velocity settings on the output to the e-kit.

    Sorry for the lack of clarity. I am not using midi grooves. Simply replacing the V71 samples with the more superior (pun intended)  VST’s in SD3.

    Truly appreciate the guidance.
