Hello,
just to let you know that everything went very well.
I installed rosetta 2 and was able to put my 340 GB of toontrack data on an external hard drive. As I have a very good connection, in 1 hour everything was done.
Thanks a lot, again for taking the time to give me the information.
The best for the future – Bruno π«π·

Thanked by: Olof HermanssonHello Olof,
Thank you for taking the time to reply. It’s great.
I’m going to go see Rosetta 2.
I saw that Apple support was talking about it.
I’ll look into it in detail.

Many thanks for the answer.
That’s right, I hadn’t read the CGV of promotions.
Have a nice day – sincerely – Brunoπ«π·

hello Brad,
Thanks for the ride home.
and a thousand thanks for helping me out.
A beautiful day and beautiful compositions.
Bye From France ππ«π·π³
Hello, Brad,
I understand that the area you live in is beautiful – enjoy the sun!
I live in the south of France in Montpellier, a modern, lively and student city. There is no shortage of sunshine, there is too much of it !
Thanks again for the info about EZBass – I’m looking forward to it.
One question, maybe you have an affiliate link for me – with that, Toontrack can make a gift just for you.
If so, please send it to me.
This afternoon is my day of music, I’m going to continue the composition I have in progress, I’m progressing, I’m discovering the CAGED and I’m still a bit struggling with the cycle of Quints.
Go to Logic Pro!
Keep it’up! Bruno
Hello Brad,
it’s 10:00 at night in France.
A thousand thanks for your patience and availability.
I finally understood, the way to get to the files.
I understood the good libraries to move and how to indicate in the Manager settings the new SSD location.
I’ve been wanting to do this for 6 months and honestly, it wasn’t easy for me to understand how to do it, even though I understood the simple idea of putting your libraries on an external hard drive.
You’ve been a great help!
One more question please:
– can I throw away the folders on the IMac in Superior Drummer: SL-MusicCity – SL-RockWare – SL-RootsVol1 and SL-SuperiorDrummer3 which contain more than 300 GB of data? (I leave the Superior Drummer folder empty)
– can I throw away the folders that are on the IMac in EZDrummer_ORIGINAL: EZX_Percussion and Midi
For the record, I plan to buy EZBass – I guess I could do the same – i.e. move the libraries from on the external SSD?
Well, that’s just great!
I’m professionalizing my DAW a bit more. My goal is to compose – like you, I work on bass and piano. There’s no shortage of ideas.
Ah ah many thanks!
I working my triads tonight on my guitar.
The same too you!ππ»
Hello Brad
many thanks – all is clear
I come back to you tomorrow when is done !
Have a good day!ππ»ββοΈ
Hello, Brad,
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain.
For your information, from my Product Manager, I’ve removed the DMG downloads that have been there since my first purchase (3000-Gb)
I think it confused my demands for explanations.
My current system on IMac is EL Capitan 10.11.6
(after I plan to do a System Update, my Mac can support it).
Actually, here’s what I understand:
– 1 – I’m moving the “Toontrack” folder (screenshoot BCH A1+A2) which is in Library>Application support>Toontrack to my new External SSD.
– 2 – once this folder in the new location (external SSD) in Logic, I tell SD3 the new location (screenshoot BCH A3)
Hoping to be clear.
Thank you for your information and have a nice day.
Hello from France π«π·
Hello, Brad,
thank you for taking the time to answer, that’s great!π
Too bad Toontrack didn’t make a specific video.
I’m trying to understand the eco-system, because I don’t know what to move on the external SSD.
I’m attaching 3 screenshoots: (normally, they match your request)
1- the Toontrack folder in Library>support application>Toontrack (1Bruno – Library – support application – Toontrack)
I have that, too, but I don’t know if it’s good.
2 – from the Toontrack Product Manager> Click on “show in finder” (2Bruno-ProductManager download)
3 – from the Toontrack Product Manager I arrive in my IMac “Download” folder with more than 300Gb of sounds (3Bruno show in finder from Product Manager)
Are those sounds the ones I have to move into the external SSD?
Thanks for your patience and good music !ππ»
Hi Erik
I’m new user like you.
if I have understood the problem correctly
I think you need to clic on the button “Browser” just above “tempo”. the keyboard will disappear and the midi list will appear in the principal window.
