PetterAh, I can see what has happened now and I know how to reproduce it. In this case, you had loaded that groove and then trimmed it from the left, making it half the length. Opening hit was activated by default and that opening hit was moved to the start of the “new” shorter groove, but something is wrong with that opening note that was moved.

I’m also unable to reproduce the issue with Opening Hit here. Would you be able to attach an .ezd3p project here in that state where the MIDI note for the Crash you have in Grid Editor doesn’t make sound?
Or do you remember what you did before you started recording the video? Did you have some other library loaded or did you have Opening Hit on something other than that crash cymbal?
