Sounds like a problem in the latest version then with various presets.
Hi, yes, this has been confirmed to be an issue in the latest version of Superior Drummer 3 and our development team is working to fix the issue. The bug affects how the mapping saves in general.

Thanked by: André LucasSame issue I can not make purchases. Is there a number to call and purchase?
Hi, we have seen an increased amount of users that cannot purchase via credit card due to the credit card issuer not having 3D Secure authentication activated.
Please, contact support here via the Contact Support button at the bottom: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-contact-support/ and we’ll be able to look further into your order attempt in particular.

Hi, the View menu is disabled if Tap2Find is enabled. Close Tap2Find and try out different View > Scale options, it seems like 70% scale would be a good start to see if that lets you see the rest of the window.
Please let us know if that solves the issue. It would also be helpful to know the size of the screen you are using (24″, 27″ for example) and resolution (1920×1080 is an example) and the name of the DAW that you are currently using.

Also, I find that when trying to edit in Reaper, all sorts of weird things happen, like notes disappearing and sections moving about without really understanding why, so I revert to the standalone version to do editing.
In Reaper, please open Options > Preferences > General > Advanced UI/system tweaks…
Then under HiDPI mode (Windows 7+) select Unaware. Does this fix the issue and make it easier to use the grid editor and editing features in the song track?
Regarding the crashes, do you get a message that a crash dump file has been created? If so, would you be able to send us that crash dump?
One way to get to a location that may contain EZD3 crash dumps on Windows is to open File Explorer and then enter the following in the address bar at the top:
%Appdata%\EZdrummer 3

Hi Thomas,
Superior Drummer 3 has been Apple silicon native since version 3.2.5, but if you are experiencing performance issues we would like to investigate further into this. Are you running Ableton in “native” mode?
Which option do you have selected in the SD3 Settings > Performance > CPU Usage menu? Using 1 core is recommended at this time.

Hi Lobstafari,
You could adjust the velocity curve in the drum view property box, but you would be cutting off the higher velocities. When you click with the mouse, you are auditioning the maximum 127 velocity hit of that articulation. Select all instruments in the kit by holding shift and clicking on all instruments, then find the Velocity Curve property box and drag the dotted line towards the bottom to exclude some higher velocities if you do not want them to trigger.

Just another question…Am I allowed to use the whole midi-song-blocks in my arrangement?
To avoid any misunderstandings we would recommend that you read the EULA that you agree to in the EZdrummer 2.1.8 full product installer in this case.
We believe that the “Terms of Use” part explains how this is arranged in the license.

Hi maren123,
Using Toontrack drum MIDI for musical arrangements is allowed, but it is not OK to redistribute or sell the individual files.
We would recommend that you read the terms & conditions on the following page and the End-user license agreement that you agreed to during the installation of EZdrummer 2.
