Hey Shootie,
I’m also unable to reproduce the issue with Opening Hit here. Would you be able to attach an .ezd3p project here in that state where the MIDI note for the Crash you have in Grid Editor doesn’t make sound?
Or do you remember what you did before you started recording the video? Did you have some other library loaded or did you have Opening Hit on something other than that crash cymbal?

Hey John,
The easiest way to do that would be to save the standalone project via the File menu > Save Project. Then load that .ezk2p project via the file menu in the EZkeys 2 plug-in that you have loaded in Cakewalk.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanHi Wade, at first glance it looks like your issue also got solved by the fix to Robert’s project. We’ll take a closer look to see if there may be other issues. Thanks!

EZK1 > EZK2 import issue.
Hey, we are trying to reproduce the issue you reported. We found another, possibly related, issue but we weren’t able to reproduce your exact issue.
Would you be able to attach one of those EZkeys 1 projects that breaks when you change library/preset in EZkeys 2 after import?

Thanked by: Wade Jackson and Robert GarciaGoogled around a bit and seems like the issue isn’t uncommon that the option doesn’t exist.
One solution I found was to edit options in the windows printer settings:
Go to “Settings” > “Devices” > “Printers & scanners” and select “Microsoft Print to PDF.” Ensure the option “Let Windows manage my default printer” is turned off.

Thanked by: Wade JacksonHey Klaus,
Which options do you have in the “Printer”-list? In Microsoft Edge on Windows 11 i get (amongst other options) Save as PDF and Microsoft Print to PDF.

If this occurs again, please let us know. We have seen cases where this can happen if the audio file is very short or only contains junk data/a single short transient or something like that. Shouldn’t happen in normal scenarios, of course.

Hi, we haven’t been able to reproduce this issue. Are you running EZkeys 2 as standalone or in a DAW?
Does it also hang if you move one of the MIDI files to a folder on your desktop, then try linking that folder with the single MIDI file in it to EZkeys 2 ?

Having a hard time reproducing the issue here, time signature and tempo changes in the editors work for me. Are you using EZkeys 2 in a DAW with follow host on, perhaps? If you’re using it in a DAW, it will control the tempo of EZkeys 2 and ignore the tempo changes you have in the Tempo Editor if you have Follow Host turned on.
