EZmix 3 is designed to be used as an effect module. You play an instrument or a track from a digital audio workstation like Pro Tools through it to apply effects.
It can also be used in standalone mode with an instrument or mic connected to your computer to apply various effects such as EQ, reverb, delay and compression. The individual presets are not something that can be “played”. Do you have an instrument like an electric guitar or a microphone connected to your computer right now, with an audio interface?
How are you using EZmix 3 right now, are you using the standalone app? Or are you using it in a DAW as a plug-in? How are you trying to play the music through EZmix 3?
Hey T-Bone! We are aware that the AI Amp Capture presets need more processing power than the older EZmix amp models. This is due to the nature of the AI technology that is being used.
You could try using the preset on a mono track. If the preset is in stereo, the CPU usage can be almost cut in half that way on some systems.
With that said, what are your PC specs? We are especially interested in the CPU you are using. And what sample rate and buffer size are you using right now? 65% does seem high compared to what we were getting during testing.
