Hi Brad and John,
I just dragged the new file in and that appears to be the right fix. I opened up SD3 and there’s no error/alert message about soundb11.obw or anything else. I won’t have a chance to actually work on this until later, but if you don’t hear from me again, all is well.
Thanks again for taking so much time to help me get this fixed!!
Have a great day.
Pete
Hi Brad,
So this is the latest download — soundb11.obw is now a robust 2.05 GB instead of 137 KB. I haven’t installed it. I’ll just let it sit there overnight and wait to hear from you.

Hi Brad,
The reinstall didn’t work. I don’t know what to do next, but obviously I need this to work soon. Can I uninstall this and start over, meaning download a whole new SD3 from Toontrack? My work has come to a complete stop.

Ok, I’ll get started on that download. Thanks again for your help, I appreciate it.
Have a good day/evening.

Thanks, Brad. Do you know how long it would take to have Toontrack Support send that to me? I’m thinking that may be the best option since this didn’t work the first time I downloaded Part 1. But if they’re equally effective I’ll downloaded it again. What do you think?
Here’s the screenshot. I see that there are three downloads I haven’t done. These are the ones?
Thanks. I’m still having a problem though. Just to be very clear so I don’t miss anything, I’ve installed the five Drum Libraries, which instruct you to download, install, and update, as you know. All of those are done and ready to use. That was done the other day. But I don’t see any “Install Product Button” for the PM to launch the SD3 installer. I can’t find a download option that says “Download Install Authorize Update.”
Please list, if you can, the steps I need to take to accomplish this. The manual is helpful, but I must be missing a step.
Thanks again.
Thanks for responding so quickly.
Sorry, I’m not clear on this stuff, so I’ll just tell you whet I know.
I sent everything –all 5 library downloads — to the SSD drive. I don’t recall downloading/installing anything else. Working on the song last night I could hear every sample loop and I could hear the whole song when it played and when I made changed. I could hear every drum when I clicked on the in the graphic.
The Sounds file lists 155 sounds but when I click on any of them I hear nothing. The corrupt file — sound11.obw — is the file that contains the song I worked on last night.
I can only access the screen with ‘DRUMS GROOVE MIXER TRACKER through the SD3 icon on my dock – I can’t access anything that works through the SSD, I only get all this through double clicking on the SD3 icon I dagged from the applications file and put on my dock.
I hope that helps.

Hello,
I bought SD3 a few days ago and downloaded it to a G-Drive SSD R (in Downloads : /Volume/G-Drive moblile SSD R Series.) Storage indicates about 250 GB have been used on the 1TB G-Drive, so all the dowloads of SD3 are there. But I could access everything only from the SD3 icon on my dock. The files in the G-Drive are whited out.
Last night I worked with Song Creator and when I tried to send the song to Pro Tools I received an Alert message: “The sound library SD3 needs to be reinstalled. It has a corrupt soundbunch:soundb11.obw.” Not sure if these problems are related, but I need to reinstall anyway, right? Do I need to uninstall first? How do I do that from an SSD drive, and how can I make sure I reinstall correctly on the SSD?
Thanks a lot. I appreciate you taking the time to walk me through this.
Pete
