Have you ever heard of or had any experiences with the Arturia BeatStep Controller & Sequencer?  (Musician’s Friend link)

    In its description, it claims:
BeatStep can quickly integrate with software including Ableton Live, BFD, EZdrummer and more.

My main purpose for this is to use with EZDrummer2 for the “Tap2 Find” function. Using the mouse to hit the drums is incredibly frustrating. If their are other features I could use, that’s always a plus!  What’s your opinion?

I’ve been following this thread and have been thinking about getting the Korg nanoPad2. I’m not so sure about it since it looks to be a battle to get it right. I’d be using it with EZDrummer 2. I don’t know where to begin to look to set up the pad mappings correctly. There are a lot of different drum kits available to use. Would I need to do this pad mapping for each drum kit?

I had the EZ Drummer 2 demo version and then I bought EZ Drummer 2. I uninstalled the demo version and it left the folders where my projects from the demo were. I had no issues at all installing EZ Drummer 2. You might want to back up your projects before uninstalling, just to be safe.
