…A problem with this method (besides the time consuming factor) is when i move the midi notes is almost impossible to put them in exactly the same place as they are played in the original rythm.

Also, you can hold down the shift key when dragging to only drag the notes up and down.

    finally a little feature request:
would it be possible to add a favourites funcion to the MIDI browser ?
a super basic one like in EZKeys would already be a good start.
you know, thousands and thousands of cryptcally named, sometimes very similar files – it would certainly help !

You already have a few ways of doing this

    1) You can set the files in Grooves browser as favorites by clicking the star symbol to the left of the groove name. If you later want to filter on only those favorites there is a star button on the actual column.

    2) You have access to a folder called “User MIDI”, this is actually the same folder as in EZD2 so any favorites you might have from EZD2 will be visible in Sup3 as well. Here you can create, remove and rename folders by right clicking the folder, you can also manage it on your OS file explorer and later sync the changes by again right clicking the “User MIDI” root folder and select “Sync File Changes”. You can also right click on the files themselves and either rename or remove them from disk.

    See attached images.

    Hope that helps 🙂star.png

Couldn’t you just have created a detachable drums tab as an extra window and it would solve the issue no? In a future 3.1 update maybe?

I´ll put it on our feature request list 🙂

I think you guys definitely are setting a new cool feature with those detachable windows.

Thanks! I like them as well, I always detach the mixer and keep it on a seperate screen when im working, really helps alot instead of having to switch tabs all the time.

    Hi,
the reason is because those extra windows are handled/managed by us from within Superior, whereas the main window is handled by Cubase and I suppose Cubase doesn’t create the plugin window in such a way to support double clicking to make it fullscreen. In standalone it works because we manage the main window as well there.
I wouldn’t necessarily call it a Cubase “issue” but rather a (probably correct) choice they went with since most plugins don’t support resizing yet and plugins are not required to handle resizing as part of the VST standard.
I´ll look into it but i cant guarantee there is much we can do about it unfortunately.
