Very interesting question, as I wanted to buy VH14 as well.

What abilities do you currently have with the VH14D + TD27 +SD3?

    Is it just like VH11?

Just because there’s no clear answer in here: Yes you can record in Superior drummer 3. At the bottom of the screen below the song/midi track you have to hit the record (circle) button. In order for it to start recording, for some stupid reason, you have to hit the play button!

If I could hug a virtual hug through the net I will do it now.

You have no idea how much time I was asking myself : “for the love of god I pressed record button, why the hell it doesn’t record!!!”

And then I read your answer.

ToonTrack, please fix this usability bug!

    Thanks again!

Following this topic as well, and planning to buy similar gear.

Is there any difference between the digital snare positional sensing to the regular positional sensing that Roland offer when connecting it to the SD3 software?

( I understand that there is a big difference when using the module itself. But since practically the module doesn’t work when you connect it to the computer, I wonder if there is any use to invest in better module)
