Okay…going over all the threads and FAQ’s I know I am not the only one who continually gets stuck in the process of switching computers.
I have purchased a new laptop and am looking to authorize it as I just got done installing pro tools 9.e toontrack websitel. Why is there not a button or link to add, or authorize another pc? I cant remember how it was done in the past, but I thought it was as easy as clicking on a link or button
I have recieved my computer id, but am unable to find the option to add the computer on the toontrack website.
all the faqs and threads say how to generate a computer id, and then says follow the instructions on the scren to get the authorization code. What instructions? I see none pointing me in the direction of what to do with the computer id..
I know the support here is prompt, direct, and very informative. Great overall, but half of these threads and time spent answering these questions wouldnt be necessary if the layout, and process was a little bit simpler and clearer…

Thank you for clarifying that up. I did just as you and Scott suggested and everything is working great.  IS it possible to have one more registration option added though? I finally got it working on my OrionBailey PC, and if yoyu notice, I now have two authorizations for the same PC… one of them being removed. Can I get that one back too? Thank you very much for being understanding of my foolishness. 🙂

Thank you for the quick response. 
I hear what you are saying, and actually was doing just that.  I did update via online, but once it was all done, before I started pro tools back up, I disabled my wireless adapter so I wasnt able to be online, yet it did as I described above.
So to make sure I am clear, you are saying I should disable my nic, then start pro tools, and then register one more time and then never have the nic enabled when I start pro tools?
That is easy enough, I just want to be sure this will work because if not, I am out of registrations and dont know what to do.  I removed an old registration from my old pc before I bought this one, and I thought it would then allow me another registry, but it doesn’t…kinda bogus, if you update your computer often. 🙂
