Thanked by: BradYes I did. I uninstalled using add/remove programs and then deleted all ezdrummer files and folders. I don’t know why it says 02/06/2023. I just installed ezdrummer for the first time the other day.
I got a reply from support saying
“Please go to C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZdrummer 3
and check what the file Aversion contains. Does it start with 3.0.4 or 3.0.5?
Then uninstall EZD3 again using Add/Remove Programs.
After that, check if the C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\EZdrummer 3
folder still exists. If it does, delete it (the “EZdrummer 3″ folder).
Then try and install EZD3 and check if it works.”
I followed all these steps and it still doesn’t work. I was wondering if the issue was my DAW so I tried to open ezdrummer through Ableton and am getting the same error message.
I would like to state however that the file “Aversion” doesn’t start with or contain any number.
Thanks for the reply. I did not move anything. Just installed the software and tried to run it. It does work as a standalone but I cannot open it in my DAW because I am getting this error message.
