Yeah they are producer type mix presets of drum mixes. In other words a producer has set different mixes of the EZD2 EZX’s with different amounts of compression and room reverb and such and each of them have a unique sound and style try them out!
Hi,
Welcome!! Sorry for the late reply…But I use the Presonus Audiobox and this will work great for your application…It only costs Like $65.00 brand new….
Cheers, jeff
Hi Mate
usually you would have to do this with two different instances of EZD depending on what kits you have (like pop/rock and then latin percussion)….Although i was just looking at the HIP HOP kit last night that also has bongos(?) on it already so you wouldn’t have to open two instances with that kit I believe…And also with NUMBER #1 hits you could layer a bongo from Latin percussion on the PERCUSSION & FX impact pads also….(I justed tried that and it works!)

I just started using my “VIRTUAL” keyboard in reaper to trigger my drums…It is easier than pulling out my midi keys lol So hope that might point you in the right direction…Also for the dble hits you can do that live with your virtual keyboard, many of the triggers have more than one place on the keyboard so you use two fingers (instead of sticks (-:) Also in your midi editor you can just add another midi note for your toms (or any other drum) very close to the hits you want and adjust the timing to get your desired effect…Hope that helps a bit…
Cheers, jeff
Hi Guys,
As far as EZKEYS goes I have bought over a dozen other midi packs for it but a majority of the time I’m using the core midi library for a lot of my basic rhythms and grooves. I use it in most all of my productions and the other libraries come in handy for those really specialised spots and many basic grooves too. (-‘
So I personally don’t feel burned on their core library for sure….
