Hi All,
Anyone know what is in 3.1.3 … no patch notes have been posted ?
Thanks,
T.
Yes, thank you toontrak! What’s under the hood? 🙂
What I found in another post works for me in reaper. Engage the record button (and possibly the monitor button) this takes away the lag for me.

Thanked by: jamster333Hey Jeff,
Macro controls are exposed to your DAW for the purpose of automation. Check out section 8 in the manual and specifically 8.5. https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/8/8-5-automation
Great Thx Brad. I can just automate in SD3 and easily name and find what I want to work with!
Hi,
If your friend only has his on one computer you can install EZD2 on your computer and use his 2nd authorization so you can have THE BASIC EZD2 lits AND all his kits to use in SD3. This way when he is writing parts without you being there you can then dial them up on SD3 when you go over there…Hope that helps

I believe there is a vinyl channel in the Mixer that you can turn down/mute.

Hey Sorry John, but it seems this HAS TO BE USER error again…because I do not hear it today…Hope you haven’t wasted ur time…This is perplexing and I will have to leave it alone for now…Thx
Hi John,
I found the issue again and I’m not able to get it to work properly…Here is the file…I hope I’m sending it you the right way…
Good Evening.
I am hoping i am just missing a setting or something here so maybe this is an easy one?
I have created the foundation of a drum track in Easy Drummers 2 Composer / Sequencer and have spent a fair bit of time humanizing and editing velocity’s there. I just migrated the midi into Reaper to further fine tune some stuff and i noticed that the velocity’s are all out to lunch?
For Example, in EZD2 the snare velocity mostly falls in the the 80-85 range for the majority of the song according to the velocity dial within it, but the midi file when dragged or imported into reaper says all the snare notes are maxed out to 127?
Now, the notes themselves to my ears sound the same as the 80-85 velocity notes in EZD? So i can’t help but wonder if i have to go into the settings somewhere to retain these properties?
Any words of wisdom? What am i doing wrong?
One suggestion, press Ctrl+alt + N in REAPER and open a new project. Then try copying the trk with EZD on it and pasting it into new project.
Then drag the midi out of EZD into new project and see if your still getting the same issue…
Hi,
I cannot reproduce, which exact OS version and Logic version are you on?
Which version number is displayed in the EZdrummer 2 plugin interface?
BR,
John
I’m experiencing the same with SD3 but ONLY when the GRID window is open.
I have rec and monitor buttons engaged…
I’m on win 10 I7 16 GB ram 340 GHz SSD drive
Running in reaper … I never noticed this before until about 3 weeks ago. .
Like op all my DAW METERS AND SUCH just freeze and lag….
Sorry if I’m posting on the wrong place..
Thx, Jeff
Hi,
I am not sure I understand correctly to reproduce this, so I can come up with a suggestion.
Can you screen cast or zip a project and attach to a post here?
BR,
John
Thx John,
I found in this particular case today that I was using it as an AUX for my snare Verb and had the MIX under 50% so I turn it up past 50% and turned down my AUX channel send vol and everything is A-OK for now (-:
I’ll try to post any other issue if I cannot solve it…Jeff
Hey shredzilla69, I think this is the best answer here…
https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/midi-packs-versus-expansion-packs/
Im following the steps in the 5 part series on stacking, but my everything I stack is not getting triggered, only the main drum? Im also not seeing where the stacked audio is showing up in the mixer section?
I had the same issue when I started too…a lot of the time the new snares or whatever create their own channel so you have to open the edit visibility tab in the mixer view and you’ll see a bunch of X snare channels .. Sorry I’m not by my computer but you can search this too in the forums under stacking
