Ressurecting an old thread but this is what I do to get Maiden/other drum tracks. – It’s not perfect but see what you think

Software:

EZDrummer2
Guitar Pro
Your DAW (I use Reaper)

Website:
UltimateGuitar

– Find the tab you want in Protab format on Ultimate Guitar.  Scroll to the bottom and click on “Download GuitarPro Tab”.

– Open this file in GuitarPro
– Export as a Midi file
– Open this Midi file in your DAW (Drag and Drop works in Reaper)
– Assign EzDrummer as the FX for the Drum track.

That’s pretty much it – Each track needs a little tweaking it’s good enough for my needs.
